Marianne Fry Lectures
The 2022 lecture will be given on Saturday 24th September by 2022 lecture announced: ‘Fields of Power’ – Dr Marie-Anne Chidiac. Her title is Fields of Power.
From Brexit to this year’s disturbing war in Ukraine and the deepening of political divides around the world, events point to people feeling marginalised. The feeling of powerlessness arises in our work spaces and individual lives. Issues of privilege and power seem frequently confusing.
Understanding power is more urgent than ever. Power is both explicitly and implicitly present in our personal lives, work and societies. It is our ethical responsibility, as enablers of presence and dialogue, to illuminate it and bring it to awareness .
Building on her clinical and organisational experience, Marie-Anne will put forward an understanding of power as a moderator of the field.
Marie-Anne is a Lebanese-British UKCP-registered psychotherapist, one of the UK’s leading trainers in Organisational Gestalt and the author of “Relational Organisational Gestalt: An Emergent Approach to Organisational Development”.
