Like many, we were looking forward to meeting face to face as a community and we have made this decision reluctantly.
We are concerned about the rapidly rising rates of infection, the evidence that immunity even for those doubly vaccinated is waning and the risk to and from unvaccinated participants. Further, many would be travelling from afar. We feel this is the only responsible choice at this time and we want to avoid a last-minute switch when participants have made arrangements for travel and accommodation.
Our costs of holding the lecture online are lower. We have halved the ticket prices accordingly.
