Refunds and cancellations


To make a partial refund, repay the money through PayPal.  There is no way to update the amount paid at present.  You can record the refund in the comment field for the booking.

Cancelling a booking

To cancel a booking, the simplest way is to log in to PayPal and cancel the payment if it is within the PayPal time limit.  The payment record in the bookings system will show the cancellation and the booking status will be changed to Pending.  You can then either:

  • Reject it.  The booker will be sent an email confirming this action.  The rejected booking remains on the system.
  • Delete it.  The booking vanishes and no email is sent.

If you cannot or do not want to do it by refund through PayPal, you could send the money by a fresh PayPal transaction .  Then go to the booking record and do one of the above actions.
