Engineers’ House is an impressive Grade II listed conference venue in Bristol, located in the pleasant suburb of Clifton Down.

The participants contact list that will be sent out in advance of the lecture will enable people to arrange to share cars if they so wish. Marianne Fry Lecture organising committee encourage visitors to use alternative means of travel or car-sharing where possible.

Engineers House will have forty car parking spaces for our use.  Should these all be taken, there is parking on the street outside which is unrestricted on Saturdays.

There are local buses.  Service no. 8 runs every 12 minutes from Bristol Temple Meads and stops right outside Engineers House, taking about 35 minutes.

Alternatively, for those travelling by train to Bristol Temple Meads, Marianne Fry Lectures is organising a transfer by shared taxi or minibus, which can be booked here.
